Composition
- 350 mg dry crushed powder of Achillea millefolium &
- other excipients as needed.
Pharmacology
Yagel is an ayurvedic remedy made from Yarrow, known for relieving hyperacidity and indigestion. It stimulates appetite and supports healing in peptic ulcers by soothing the digestive tract. Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) contains a variety of chemical compounds, including monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes, and flavonoids. Monoterpenes : Demonstrate potential gastroprotective effects against gastritis and peptic ulcers by exhibiting anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-secretory properties. Sesquiterpenes : Sesquiterpenes have been shown to protect the gastric mucosa from injury, potentially by increasing mucus production, reducing acid secretion, and enhancing mucosal defense mechanisms. It can inhibit the formation of ulcers and promote healing, suggesting their potential as therapeutic agents for peptic ulcers. Flavonoids : Possess anti-inflammatory properties. Some flavonoids, like baicalein, have shown the ability to inhibit the growth and activity of H. pylori, a major cause of peptic ulcers.
Dosage & Administration
1/2 capsule 1-2 times daily or as per directed by the Registered Physicians.
Contraindications
No report is available on contraindication. It may be happened in patients who are hypersensitive to any of its ingredients.

Pregnancy & Lactation
The safety of this capsule in pregnancy has not been studied. Therefore, it should be used with caution during pregnancy as per directed by the Registered Physicians.
